I would like to take this opportunity to tell you more about myself and my experience in healthcare. I am originally from Crofton, Maryland, and I earned my B.S. degree in biology at the University of Miami in 1989. I continued my studies at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, obtaining my medical degree in 1993. Following graduation, I continued my medical training with a surgical internship and orthopedic residency at the University of Maryland Medical System. In 1999, I completed two advanced training programs, or fellowships, in traumatology, the first at the Hospital for Special Surgery and the second at the Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland.

My practice is focused on orthopedic trauma, including pelvis and limb reconstruction. It is my mission to provide you excellent service with compassionate care. I always strive to provide you the same high quality orthopedic care that I would offer to a member of my family. I am active in continuing medical education and have spoken at numerous national and international meetings. I serve as a Clinical Assistant Professor with Rush University Medical Center's Residency Program and serve as site director. I also serve as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford. In addition to my extensive medical commitments, I enjoy golf, fishing, and spending time with my family.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to further improve your experience at Rockford Orthopedic Associates. My goal is to provide you the best medical care available.
