Welcome to Rockford Orthopedic Associates!

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you more about myself and my experience in healthcare. I am originally from Byron, Illinois, and I earned my B.A. degree at the University of Missouri in 1970. While at the University of Missouri, I was a half-mile athlete on the track team and a cross country team member. I continued my studies at the University of Iowa Medical School, obtaining my medical degree in 1974.

Following my graduation, I pursued advanced orthopedic training as part of my residency at Northwestern University.

Having recently retired from my surgical practice, I now have a special emphasis in nonoperative hip and knee conditions, and sports medicine. I have worked extensively with area sports teams including Rock Valley College and am currently the team physician for the Hononegah Indians football team, which continues to give me the opportunity to work with athletes regularly.

It is my mission to provide you excellent service, as well as compassionate care. I always strive to provide you the same high quality of orthopedic care that I would offer to a member of my family.

I am actively involved in continuing medical education. I serve as Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.

In addition to my extensive medical commitments, I enjoy model railroads, raising Doberman Pinchers, basketball, water sports, and spending time with my family.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to further improve your experience at Rockford Orthopedic Associates. My goal is to provide you the best medical care available.

I am looking forward to meeting with you!
