Advance Subspecialty Training

Jasan KadarThe Orthopedic Fellowship at Rockford Orthopedic Associates is a 12-month didactic and clinical training program offered through the University of Illinois College of Medicine - Rockford to provide advance training in the subspecialty of orthopedics.

The program offers hands-on training in a variety of settings, including clinic, hospital patient care unit, emergency and operating rooms. Trainees become an integral part of the health care team supervised by a surgeon and senior physician assistant to gain the confidence and skills required to become successful in the specific subspecialty of training.

Jimmy WalkerRockford Orthopedic, established in 1967, is a university-quality, multi-specialty private practice in northern Illinois just one hour from Chicago O'Hare International Airport.

As a thriving and growing practice of 20 physicians and fellowship-trained surgeons, Rockford Orthopedic occupies a 43,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art clinic and rehabilitation center. The practice utilizes digital radiology, PACs, EMR, and operates a practice-owned outpatient surgery center, two MRIs, durable medical equipment retail sales, and a clinical research department.
