Welcome to Rockford Orthopedic!

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you more about myself and my experience in healthcare. I am originally from Detroit, Michigan, and I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology at Arizona State University in 1993. I continued my studies at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, obtaining my medical degree in 2000.

Following my graduation, I went on to pursue advanced training by completing my residency at the University of Michigan Family Practice Residency Training Program in 2003.

In 2004, I completed a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Michigan State University. While in Michigan, I served as team physician for a number of the University of Michigan's sport teams as well as for area high schools. I continued my career in Family Practice and as a team physician for Ohio State University before joining Rockford Orthopedic, where my practice is focused on non-operative sports injuries.

Locally, I am a team physician for the Rockford RiverHawks, Rock Valley College, Rockford College, and Rockford Christian High School. Being a team physician gives me the opportunity to work with athletes regularly.

It is my mission to provide all my patients excellent service, as well as compassionate care. I always strive to provide you the same high quality of medical care that I would offer to a member of my family.

In addition to my extensive medical commitments, I enjoy golfing, working out, staying active in my church and fraternity activities, and coaching my daughter in basketball.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to further improve your experience at Rockford Orthopedic. My goal is to provide you the best medical care available.

I am looking forward to meeting with you.
