Our Physicians
Victor D. Antonacci, MD
Specializing in: Hip and Knee

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you more about myself and my experience in health care. As a native-born New Yorker, my wife, children and I moved to Rockford after the September 11th tragedy. I've found Rockford to be a restful, family-oriented, and charming city; one in which I have greatly enjoyed serving patients and building my practice over the years.
After completing my surgical residency in New York at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital, I knew that I enjoyed the field of joint replacement. This interest drove me to continue to hone my skills at The New England Baptist Hospital in a specialized training program, or fellowship, in joint replacement surgery.
My interest in joint replacement surgery continues to motivate me. I am currently the only area orthopedic surgeon utilizing computer navigation in knee replacement surgery and I have a special interest in partial knee replacement, a minimally invasive knee surgery that removes only the most damaged areas and entails a smaller incision and faster recovery than traditional total joint replacement. My on-going career goals are to utilize the latest technology and refine my techniques in order to improve patient safety, satsifaction and surgical outcomes.
I find personal satisfaction recognizing that my patients benefit from surgical advancements that allow them to enjoy and improve their quality of life. I look forward to meeting you and providing that same service!
